Urbane Haus is a design studio grounded in the belief that spaces shape how we live, work, and move through the world. Our work is rooted in clarity, proportion, and thoughtful decision-making, with an emphasis on creating environments that feel enduring rather than reactive.
We approach design as a directional practice. Every project begins by understanding how a space is meant to function, what it should support, and how it should feel over time. From there, decisions are made with care and restraint, allowing beauty to emerge through balance, materiality, and intentional layering.
Founded in 2024, Urbane Haus reflects a point of view that is both grounded and refined. The name draws inspiration from Sherwin Williams’ Urbane Bronze, a tone that embodies the duality at the heart of our work: warmth and depth, structure and softness, quiet confidence over excess. Based in Houston and serving clients nationwide, including South Mississippi, our studio works across residential and boutique commercial environments.
Urbane Haus exists for clients who value discernment, longevity, and design that feels considered rather than performative. This is work shaped by standards, guided by judgment, and meant to support real life.
About Amber
Amber Bean-Payton is founder and principal designer of Urbane Haus. Her brand and graphic design background drives a strategic interior approach focused on clarity, narrative, and intentional systems over surface aesthetics. Before Urbane Haus, she developed visual identities and brand experiences, honing her skill in turning abstract ideas into cohesive environments. She holds a BBA from the University of Houston, which informs her attention to function, operations, and client experience.
Amber’s work emphasizes restraint, proportion, and careful material use. She favors enduring decisions that create ease, grounding, and quiet confidence, making spaces elevated yet livable. Her design supports how people actually live and work, offering clarity, judgment, and intention rather than a prescribed signature style.
