Welcome to Urbane Haus. By accessing this website or booking any service, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline how our business operates and what you can expect when working with us.

1. General Use of This Website

All content, images, text, graphics, and materials on this site are the property of Urbane Haus and may not be copied, reused, or reproduced without written permission.

Using this website does not create a designer–client relationship.

2. Services Provided

Urbane Haus offers the following categories of services:

  • Consultations (Residential & Commercial)

  • Full Service Interior Design

  • Virtual Design

  • À La Carte Services

  • Interior Styling & Installation

  • Outdoor Space Planning

  • Commercial Design

Each service type has its own structure, pricing, and scope, which are outlined in detail on the website and/or in your service agreement.

Urbane Haus reserves the right to decline projects that are not a good fit or fall outside the company’s expertise.

3. Payment Requirements

Payment terms vary by service type and are outlined in your proposal, invoice, or service agreement.

Consultations

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

All Other Services

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your project start date. Additional invoices are issued at key milestones.

Procurement

All procurement orders must be paid in full prior to ordering and are final sale once placed.

Late payments may pause your project and incur late fees as outlined in our general payment policy.

4. Refunds & Cancellations

All design fees, retainers, and time spent are non-refundable due to the custom nature of our work.

Consultations follow the separate Consultation Payment & Cancellation Policy posted on this website.

Refunds for purchased items follow the vendor’s policies and are not guaranteed by Urbane Haus.

5. Scheduling & Availability

Project timelines and start dates are only guaranteed once:

  1. The service agreement is signed, and

  2. The retainer has been received.

Delays in payment, approvals, or client communication may extend the timeline.

Urbane Haus reserves the right to adjust timelines due to factors outside our control (e.g., vendor delays, backorders, shipping issues).

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate measurements, information, and photos

  • Make timely decisions to avoid delays

  • Review and approve documents and selections promptly

  • Communicate respectfully and professionally

  • Ensure contractor compliance with design intent where applicable

Clients acknowledge that Urbane Haus does not provide contracting, construction, or architectural services.

7. Design Ownership & Usage

All design concepts, drawings, renderings, plans, and ideas created by Urbane Haus remain the intellectual property of Urbane Haus unless otherwise stated in writing.

Clients may use design materials only for the project they were created for. Reuse on other projects requires written approval and may incur additional fees.

Urbane Haus may photograph completed projects and use images for marketing unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

8. Accuracy of Information

While every effort is made to provide accurate and up-to-date information, Urbane Haus is not responsible for typographical errors, product changes, discontinued items, or vendor updates.

Clients are responsible for verifying final measurements, product availability, and installation requirements.

9. Third-Party Vendors & Contractors

Urbane Haus may recommend third-party vendors, contractors, trades, or suppliers. These recommendations are optional and provided for convenience only.

Urbane Haus is not responsible for the work, actions, timelines, or performance of any third-party provider.

Any contracts, warranties, damages, or disputes with third parties are solely between the client and the vendor/contractor.

10. Limitation of Liability

Urbane Haus is not liable for:

  • Construction issues

  • Contractor work

  • Shipping delays

  • Product defects

  • Damage caused by installers or tradespeople

  • Costs resulting from client decisions, changes, or delays

  • Lost profits or incidental damages

Liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid by the client for services rendered by Urbane Haus.

11. Revisions & Changes

Urbane Haus may update services, policies, pricing, or terms at any time.
Clients will be notified of significant changes if they affect active projects.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute shall be resolved under those laws.
